Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in The Environmental Sciences from the University of Peshawar(In progress).

When and Why did I join PTI:

I joined PTI as the founding president of ISF at the University of Peshawar in November 2007. The foremost reason for joining the party was the desire to bring change in the society on my part, and the reason for selecting PTI as the party was the record and the slogan the party upheld. The party has had the reputation of an organization that had never betrayed the principles outlined in its manifesto.

What do I want to do to improve PTI:

The Pakistani society at large has been suffering from mass-elite disintegration. I believe that the party will work up to its potential if the leaders of the party are able to penetrate the ranks of common people. PTI should adopt policies and endorse issues that are closer to the hearts of the common people.

Joining ISF was not a sudden decision. I had been approached by students’ organizations that had already been working on the campus. However, I was looking for a fresh start and that could only happen in an organization with a clean-sheet. Therefore, I initiated ISF to better promote the interests of the broader students’ body and not only of the students that have some leverage in the organization, as is the case with other student organizations. I want to change the culture of student politics that has been im place at various institutions around the country.

Any interesting event which motivated me to join PTI:

As I stated earlier, the decision was not out of any sudden event or emotion: it was a decision that I pondered long ago. I also carefully assessed the role of other student organizations, and after having disappointed from them, I decided to join the ISF.
