PTI THINK TANKS

PTI has an overall/central Think Tank, this has a convener. There are four other Think Tank so far, namely in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and the Insaf Research Wing (IRW).

About IRW

Insaf Research Wing (IRW) is a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) created to carry out research in order to find solutions for problems in Pakistan.  The foremost goal of IRW is to keep people of Pakistan and PTI informed and prepared. The wing is composed of 10 committees as above. Each committee addresses issues related to its field of expertise. The research reports/papers are either commissioned by the central executive committee of PTI or committee members of IRW.

The Wing does not follow a preset ideology while carrying out research. IRW does not endorse any opinion presented in a published report/paper as an official position. Any published document by the wing does not constitute it as an official position of PTI unless otherwise stated.

Insaf Research Wing works at a national level but its members are located throughout the world bringing in the much needed international experience. IRW practices an open membership policy valid for all Pakistanis regardless of religion or race.

If you are interested in joining or finding out more, we request you to kindly send us a copy of you CV on your qualifications, experience and any research work that you have done at the above mentioned e-mail address.

Nice Article. Curruption is the root cause of the problems of Pakistan. It's not terrirosm as potraied by our government. They just want to hide their curruption by highlighting terrorism. Terrorism is an another means to corruption for our government.
War on Terror is not our war. It is only a mean for our government to make money out of it by killing and selling our own people. It is America's war. Our war is War on Curruption.

Dr Nasrullah has authored an exhaustive article. We all feel the grave pinch of this menace and being Muslims it pricks our conscience more than any other society. In my view the ill has polluted our blood to the extent that routine changes in the system would not work until some stringent measures are not constituted. The FIRST AND THE FOREMOST is to set a standard of conduct for the TOP MAN ie the chief executive. If he/she doesn't indulge in corrupt practices only then the independent judiciary, election commission and other key organizations would be able to function corruption free.His/her character and behavior would influence the government machinery downward.
Secondly formulation of strict punishments to deter the corrupt practices must be given priority disregarding the concerns of human right groups. Believe me very few exemplary punishments would set the society on right direction.

Just joined PTI. As far as the article is concerned, it is not exhaustive with due respect. The contents are very much academic and old mantra. Problem is how it is going to be implemented?

Another thing. Why is it so that a PTI member can not be a member of any other political party?

Corruption is very very serious issue beyond any speculation. History is evident that nations don't fall due to starvation and economic slide, but due to moral degradation and we unfortunately heading towards that direction due to unchecked corruption. When there is a will there is a way.We have to have to be serious. Its a matter of life and death for our society. Solutions to the problems are suggested, deliberated and put to tests through sincere efforts. I salute Dr Nasrullah for his thoughtful paper on the most chronic catastrophe, the route cause of our all ills and tragedy No. 1, Pakistan is passing through. Implementation of course is a an intricate stage to fight out corruption, but where there is will there is a way. We are a vibrant nation with all potentials intact to feel the pain and rise up to the call. At the present political scene, PTI is the best hope to move ahead fast and lead the nation from front to save the society, the nation from devastation. We have to be serious.

JUST SAY " GO ZERDARI GO " & "GO NAWAZ SHAREEF GO "

KHAN SB SAYS,

MIAN SAAB JAAN DO , SADI WARI AAN DOO

THEN CURREPTION WILL BE END

What attracted people the most towards Minar-i-Pakistan on 30/10/11? Beyond no doubt it was the hope that PTI would save the country from the clutches of corrupt leaders. So higher the corruption, higher is the turn out at PTI's rallies. To uphold this pledge the workers of the party have greater responsibility upon their shoulders. They must keep the momentum moving and show up as role model against corruption. Otherwise in SADI WARI, we would be washed away like others who are passing through grave humiliation today. What the leader said yesterday; the golden words, "WE ARE A RICH COUNTRY". Rich in resources, rich in hard work, rich in intellectual abilities, rich in self esteem, rich in determination and rich in moral values. But very poor in leadership standards. Remember there is no short cut to fight out the evil of corruption. Its the test of nerves, which the Imran's team has to win through. GOOD LUCK.

What if we bound from a peon to topman of pakistan for TAT. Every one should have response time to say NO or Yes to any matter with reasons but have no right to put file in his draw for any reason whatsoever. It will finish the present attitude of ownership of public files by clerks.

It is easy to eridicate because Fish always start rotten from head so we have to take action from the top.
Most important is to remove artile 58.2b but u will say it has already taken away after 18th amendment ,in practice every one from top to bottom is useing in the name of Discritionar power so no secratary or PM should use discritionary power or put any file pending but issue judicail order so that one can appeal to the higher authority.
2.Remove service tribunal and these powers should b transfered to D.J or HC .
3.Anticorruption laws r there but Chairman of Anticorrupion commette sholuld b D.J not any C.S

All suggestions to eradicate corruption from our society are worthwhile to be considered on priority. However, it is more important at the moment that we promote the WILL amongst PTI workers and bring more and more support for the fight against this very destructive menace. The worthy chairman is already paying exclusive attention to this issue. He has a plan, vision and strong will to lead an all out war against corruption. We must prepare ourselves above the board, beyond our self interests to be active part of this force running the vital movement.

I strongly urge the worthy analysts of PTI to actively participate in this forum for positive brain storming and promotion of awareness amongst masses joining the party with greater expectations.

I think there is no point in arguing about corruption cancer in Pakistan. It is now become an excuse for every wrong. To eliminate corruption we have to begin at our home. Instead of wasting time in blame game we should concentrate on our own area of influence. We need role models in anti corruption. We hope PTI will provide such a platform which will be admired by all in times to come. In Sha Allah.

By Syed M Ashraf @ Thursday, January 05, 2012 3:12 AM  |   (ashraf7678)
Mahad, I fully support your views. The solution to every ill lies in our personal accountability with regard to the irritant we feel the pinch of. The absolute courage is however an essential ingredient one must possess. The PTI team is expected to match the required will. INSHA ALLAH.

Dear readers:
Pakistans current leadership is absent from its duties. They are too busy in personal vested interests which are conflicts.
Pakistani Peoples Party disguises itself in the banner of Democracy, and yet indirectly supporting thugs, criminals and foreign entities for money,
Ironically, all such leaders have assets in foreign countries, which suggests that they have safe havens outside as escape routes.
Lack of law and order, and terrorism, hyper inflation, unemployment and excessive borrowing, foreign occupations and oppertunists are issues overlapped with one another.
I am disgusted with these incompetent leaders.
This is why Imran is the obvious choice, He has identified each area of issues , and has solutions.
More importantly, he is honest and discusses these real issues as opposed to avoiding them, or painting rosey images the current state.
Imran is the hope for Pakistan.

By Syed M Ashraf @ Friday, January 06, 2012 8:59 AM  |   (ashraf7678)
The current political rulers are so morally degraded, corrupt, incompetent and above all self serving that one feels shame even discussing their misdeeds. They never had been the choice of people of Pakistan, rather they always were brought to power through foreign agenda and financial support. If you look back at the events bringing them to power turn by tern, it is evident that they played in the hands of our enemies to get to the power and then looted this unfortunate nation like robbers. Upon every escape they filled up their foreign accounts, pushing up their foreign assets to new heights. Now they earnestly desire to transfer this evil heritage to their children. Lets cutback on our frustration by discussing them and move forward. Every one of us in PTI must step forward as volunteer and forthcoming to promote fairness, even-handedness and contribute toward the awareness and unity of our nation. All those carrying valuable experience, motivation and knowledge should voluntarily start grooming the young PTI workers under the programme designed by the Party Leadership at gross root level across the country. Such progamms if planned prudently would consolidate the Party's strength, boost up greater support from the masses and provide a solid standing to the PTI's moto; distinguishing it from others who everyday devise new plans to befool the people. LETS DISTINGUISH OUR SELF, PRACTICALLY. Wish you all the best.

they all are corrup politician in this government . we need 1 good government

By Syed M Ashraf @ Sunday, January 15, 2012 11:55 AM  |   (ashraf7678)
I would like to add that corruption in our society is not only limited to politicians. Corruption has rather unfortunately infected the roots of our society. The politicians as the leaders of masses, instead of eradicating this menace themselves jumped into the bloody pool and propelled this evil to new heights. The saying that Fish starts rotting from head proves true as our corrupt leaders promoted corruption in the files and ranks of this society.
While An honest leader would set a personal example, devise strategy and put in all efforts to declare war against corruption; he would need all out support from his dedicate teams at all levels to motivate people and support the anti corruption movement ( Tehreek ). All motivated PTI WORKERS are therefore, urged to start preparing themselves for this uphill task.
