I agree with Evergreen, Barlas and Dr, Arsim,

@Sufghan

We desperately need young blood in CEC, this Biradari system is a reality, but it is contrary to PTI ideology. We have vote bank, which is not thin but it is not aligned together. I agree with you, we need some seasoned politician, but, there is no Surety that these seasoned politician will always stay loyal to PTI.

@ Moazzam Ali @ Majeedraja

My dear, You have certainly depicted lot of passion for PTI and its future and i salute your courage and indefatigability. But i regret to inform both of you that Mindset of Pakistani people will not change for another 25 years or may be more. They will always vote for influential rich biradari based people.

Lets go back 25 years 1985 Elections look who was elected
Nawaz Sharif, Yousaf Raza Gilani, Javed Hashmi, Sheikh Rasheed
Anwar Ali Cheema, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Shujat Hussain and many more. Hamid Rza Gilani was Senator in 1985. 1988 elections Bhuttos, Makhdoom amin fahims, naved qamar etc

These peole are still alive and they are still thriving and kicking healthy in Politics. Have they changed any mindset? No brothers nothing has changed.

Lets go back further 25 years ago 1964 Provincial assembly elections? Mustapha Khar, Malik Meraj Khalid, Nwabzada nasrullah khan, Ch sarwar, Bhuttos, Zahoor elahi all as MNA/MPAs has anything changed? Hina Rabbani Khar is still MNA a niece of Khar.

Lets go back one more decade behind 1951 Provincial assembly elections and you will see families of similar people. So what does this prove?

Do what romans do. PTI will not flourish if influential people will not join it. We need influential people in PTI. Pakistani people only salute the rising Sun. That is strong biradari, money, power, DIG links.

Dear Sufghan,

I really appreciate and a fan of your practical approach. Your analysis are always based on bare realities, I agree with you that people of Pakistan always support rising Sun. You mentioned the families, which is very much true. But, then why we are making all our efforts for change? A demand of new culture in politics? Where is middle class in national Assemblies? Should we keep this ruling cousins for our future? Should we still confined our talent as Punjabi, Puktoon, Sindhi, Baluch, Mohajir, Siraiki, Hindko, Shia, Sunni, Wahabi, .......etc. Do we have no right to become a prosperous nation? It all seems too much idealistic but we have to change this culture of politics, we have to build a strong middle class.

I always liked your approach of practical politics, as I am 35 years old and have seen this biradari and vote politics from very close quarters. But, now I want to say the time is of Youth, like Moazam Ali (PTI Islamabad), Ch. Awais (PTI Okara) and another example is Malik (ISF Faisalabad) to come forward and show their talent. We must encourage them, guide them and polish them to become our leaders of future, to save us from this ruling class whom Churchill named as “Rouge and Rascals”.

I am looking forward for comments.
Best wishes and Prfound Regards,

I thankyou for your comments, and understanding, your intentions are sincere and you also want to see PTI to be successful, our Objectives are probably same but our methodology and ways of thinking is diferent.I do not deny facts that you have mentioned but atleast someone at some stage has to change this system, atleast try to do it as everyone is responsible for what he has done and should give his 100% and leave Success or defeat on ALLAH all mighty.we can see examples iin history how systems have been changed,The main thing is Ideology and Commitment to the cause one should look to achieve his Objective by all possible means,so whether that is elections, revolution, etc all posible means should be used to bring change. We should never compromise on our Objectives but compromise can be made to achieve our Objective.

Majeed bhai,
Thankyou very much for thoghts and comments,i agree with you that It is time that we struggle to bring change, but i think it is not only the time of Youth but it is time for Politically aware,Mature,Inteligent,Intellectual,Sincere, commited and passionate people to come forward and struggle to change this System. And we should Support them, help them, guide them, encourage them and unite them so that a collective effective effort can be made to change the System.People are only as good as they are allowed to be.

please see the link and u will have an idea of what is happening in by-elections...
i strongly suggesst our legal team esp Hamid Khan saheb to come up with some plan to contact supreme court for independent election commission...all these bradari contestants have grip over poor ppl because they are all are so influential having local police in their control...they can do anythng for votes and being afraid of their anger ppl give them votes....i am not against Bradari candidates but these candidates should not be culprits like all these candidates of PPP and PML n....Zaheer abbas Khokar in lhr was a good option..he was strong and has a good repute here in his local area..few may say that he was in ppp before and shouldnt be given ticket but i live in johar town and he holds a good repute here having a pretty clear past...but unfortunately in rural areas u wont be finding strong bradari candidates having clear pasts...
@sufghan...yaar if u know of any such candidates who r strong but also have clear pasts ,come up with their names...ALL SAID, WE NEED SUPREME COURT TO HELP THIS COUNTRY GET AN INDEPENDENT ELECTION COMMISSION..PLEASE GET HELP FRom SC SOS

@ Dear Majeed Raja/Moazzam Ali

My dear Ofcourse I fully agree with you we all want to bring soft revolution in Pakistan through democratic ballot. That is probably why IK got into politics. And ideally it should be our long term goal. I was emphasising on short term objectives, which at the moment is to win seats in National Assembly.I think we should not mix our permanent long term goals with short term goals. Our long term efforts for change will be realized with the passage of time however we have to bear in mind that next general elections just 2 years away. PTI hardly gets any coverage in media (because we have no representation in parliament) even in British media whenever IK is mentioned (they always pinpoint that PTI is struggling to make political inroads). Our short term objective should be how to overcome this chokers tag. (Whenever elections come we either boycott or runaway because we lack good candidates). Once PTI manages a dozen national assembly seats atleast PTI will have legitimate saying in the affairs of country through Parliament. We will get government funds, Media coverage, western media will also acknowledge. Then yes we and PTI can certainly move forward to our long term objective. But for that we have to approach every phase step by step, and next step is next general elections.

@ Dr Arsam,

Well i am hopeful before next general elections some good strong candidates will join PTI. All we need is a push in Parliament. New voters list will also come in to play during next elections that will help our cause and yes there are few good candidates who have already joined PTI but we need more numbers.
