| PTI should be very careful while accepting people in the organization.Imran khan should not only ask for declaration of assests as the sole condition before joining PTI.I want to give an example here, suppose if Jamshaid dasti wants to join PTI and declare all his assets, should PTI accept him??
PTI should impose more conditions while accepting candidates, like personal character of a person, etc along with their strong commitment with PTI manifesto.

| well I was just "browsing-by" and thought of dropping in a few cents.
for the recored Im not a member of PTI (as yet) but it turned out you have to be one to post!
Hence, whatever I must say would be as a third party onlooker with no personal interest in the matter. And perhaps would give you a bird's eye-view of what "outsiders" are thinking of PTI regarding the recent developments.
I saw three threads concerning the same subject.
Regarding this thread "I am Leaving PTI in a protest." (which is strangely closed for discussion) the person "mubi" is apparently one of the most senior members here turns out he joined in '96 when most of us were probably having a transition from shorts-to-pants and didn't even know PTI existed, he must be heard by the high-ups of the party for he does represent a very serious cause indeed ! Initially I was rather apathetic towards him but the guy eventually gave some very convincing arguments. Do I personally know those Ayubs and Zamans to be corrupt ? No, I don't but do you know them to be otherwise? still a no ! and like mubi said as to evidence, does anyone of us have any physical evidence of zardari being corrupt? No! and with physical evidence I also mean court ordered charges of corruption. The same applies for anyone and everyone PTI is standing against.
One of the guys here mentioned "mubi's" claims to be "hearsay" ! Dude ! for crying out loud !! ! the entire political and electoral system of our country in its practical terms is somewhat based on hearsay. From Grandfathers to fathers to sons, voting has become a tradition and thats what I assume again PTI is standing against. Propagation of the realization that voting is a responsibility rather then a tradition. And then again the hearsay rule would also apply on zardari and others because as mentioned earlier zardari's and other's tales of corruption are also hearsay! now do u believe them to be innocent? technically, they too have NO supreme court charges brought against them to be effective to the extent of compelling them to resign. In our country sometimes hearsay reputation matters more then proven facts!.
Someone referred to "gymphana" I believe he was implying "Gymkhana" as to justify the enrolment of allegedly corrupt people and "lotas" to PTI by stating PTI is a "free-for-all" to join and not for a particular group of people. In my years in Karachi visiting Gymkhana I did not know of them claiming to change the country but check that, PTI does claim to change the country Hence they must be a little careful when allowing black sheep to enter the party let alone standing for it!.
In another post someone said there are two ways to win either establish and organize nationwide which would require 20 years. Or have strong candidates. 16 years already! would 4 more hurt much?. Saying that PTI couldn't account for anything in the previous elections because of a lack of strong candidates is a disgrace to the efforts PTI has been making. Its because of those 16 years of losing election has it now made PTI to gain such momentum by establishing a rigid-hard no corruption policy and sticking for it for a good 16 years has it now made it shine so. And strong candidate does not mean corrupt candidate!. And here you must also re-check PTI's political ambitions. Is it about reforming the country or winning the elections !?? the two terms are not entirely inter-woven they DO have a fine demarkation.
And thinking "we should trust Imran khan and his vision, he can see what we can not, have faith on him, he is all-knowing and all-wise he has it all planned. Is he God? Last time I checked he was NOT God, rather as human as we are which means he is viable to mistakes, wrong decisions and even perhaps greed!. Greed of just winning this election however possible!. Not to blame his intentions for bettering Pakistan only. But to compromise on the very ideals he stood for in the first place to just win the elections, is not a good move. It simply damages the dignity of the principles he set out for.
Do not mistake me, I personally am an admirer of Imran Khan. His contributions to the country regardless of political aspirations are already countless. Anybody who fails to realize that must be a lunatic. He is a valuable asset and a national hero already.
"what's the point of all this when the candidates have not even annonced" "what's the point of all this when candidates have only been announced but not finally ticketed" "what's the point of all this when the candidates have only been ticketed. there's still time in elections" "what's the point of all this when Imran himself have appointed those candidates to stand. Imran must have a plan" "ok there's really no point of all this when the same old looters have won again under PTI"
so at what point you would want to stop the cycle?
You don't put your hand on fire to "wait and see" wether it burns or not to take the necessary measures consequently, you just stay the heck away from it!.
Conclusively, these recent acts have damaged the integrity of PTI largely and has created doubts in the minds of many.
Peace!. | | | |

| @Abu bakar... I totally agree with you.
@Tayyab... Yar kindly don't close your eyes. What do u expect? Names like Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Mian Azhar, Masood Shareef Khatak, etc. have joined PTI for fame? What do you think?
Ofcourse they joined PTI because they consider themselves as an election candidate and they think PTI has more winning probabilities than any other party.
On the other hand, what do you think? Why PTI have included them? for its own fame? No, of course it will award them tickets. Kindly understand. It is an issue and PTI's leadership have to address this issue. | | Adnan Sohail Software Engineer, Finance Secretary, PP-137, Shahdara, Lahore.

| Dear Adnan,
What you have said is based on assumption, champ. Let the PTI announce tickets. Then we can discuss merit of each of these tickets in view of the overall picture.
Till that time, discussion on mere assumptions just serves to help spread the rumors planted by noon league.
