AOA all,
As you all know Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been appointed as Vice Chairman of PTI which means he will Lead us after IK.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi:- The person who just joined PTI (two weeks ago).
- The person who do not know anything about PTI's real vision and ideology and who can not Guide the nation specially youngsters on IK's vision.
- The person who left PPP only for only a ministry and not for Raymond Davis issue (truly speaking)
- The person who is almost the same kind of old politician.
Where are the old genuine people like Justice Wajeeh-u-Din, Hamid Khan, Dr. Arif Alvi, etc. I guess they deserved to be VC rather than this new comer Shah Mehmood. But this is Shah Mehmood who will Lead us after Captain.
Do you agree with the decision? Kindly answer fairly. | |

| Why not? Its a decision of CEC (which include the name you mentioned above and intend to make people emotional) and endorse by Chairman. We believe in System within party and as per system the CEC has right forsuch appointments and amendments in constituition.
In every field, we need 02 things to succeed,1. Good Intention 2, Competence. SMQ is decent person and his track record is that he leave party if not satisfied but did not create split, I trust Imran kHan in this regard. I have no doubt in his competency.
Now, if we talk about Dr. Arif Alvi, Naeem ul Haq, Shireen Mazari, Hamid Khan. These people are of good intention but their competence in politics, mobilization of people, build strong constituency, good coordination with lower level of workers, success to build PTI strong organization like election within PTI or proper structure, managing polling booths in election etc., I have serious doubts on their political competency. Even these people are unable to resolve conflicts at district level, until Khan sb interfere. Its not Government office that seniority counts, its also performance which matter.
He is old politician but even then he maintain his reputation. Further, you need old politicians to win in rural areas having strong influence in bradari. Dont expect that PTI is so popular that who ever stand, he win.
further, if these olf PTI office bearers had capable enough to strenght the PTI and has electables all over Pakistan the Imran Khan never had to rely on old politicians but unfortunately, due to poor progress of old PTI office bearers, Chairman has to rely on old politicians.

(for janobi panjab, he will organize party to grass root, in that area, we need some leader like him, it is a boost to PTI. You will see, in janobi panjab, PTI will win even it is not urban area. now many other electable will join.)
a constable remains constable the whole 25 years of service some times, and an officer a new commer, direcly from merit exams,come and lead him by coming through psc or css, this is a merit, and shah mehmood is on merit,
quid e azam came from congress to muslem league and many others were under him. Some were working from the past many years.
these are the rules and merit for politics, but but,,, look,
but I still can consider your fear of leading us, Shah mehmood will not lead us,
ok, you ask, shah mehmood will be leading us after imran, i can differ, I can say no,
it is a separate issue.
Do not misguide our members,
You should put two different polls,
1,the decision of appointing shah mehood vice president is right decision or not,
2. Shah mehmood will be leading us after imran??
these are two different issues, you should not mix them,
Javeid hashmi was president and vice president of N league, but he will never lead N league.
Now tell me if you see any person except imran in the party who have 35 years experience in politics.
He can work for pti in his area. Many new people will join because of him. He can win the seat and arrange many other winners in that area.
Old pti leaders are not the politicians actually, they are lover of imran only, they can not win even their own seat. They are just sitting on the arms of imrans popularity, they are not popular, they do not have their own vote bank,
If they do not have vote bank, they are not on meirt for vice president, in politics the merit is vote bank and popularity. If some one is ready to follow our vision and ideology, he has vote bank, he is on merit.
I am a member of PTI since 96, and i have only 20 votes, how can i claim for some post, I am not on merit,
A police constable remains constable servicing the department the whole of his life as a constable, but some body comes from out side through public service commission, css and is appointed directly on a higher post. what should that constable say that he is serving from his childhood, now he deserve to be ssp post,, no way, my brother,
be open minded, shah mehmood is new comer but accept him with open heart.
he deserves the post after imran. and he will be a very big asset of pti in future, But he will never lead us,
Imran will lead us and if you talk after imran ,I even do not think of this issue now because, we have imran with us still | |

Of course all of us have the same confidence on IK which you are talking about. But let me clarify few things to you.
People of Pakistan specially youngsters they are not blind lovers of IK. They support him because of his actions and ideas but where ever he deviates that ideology, we have to raise our voice. We have to speak. This is the only way we can sustain ourselves on the Right track.
2ndly about the senior Leadership like Hamid Khan, Dr. Arif Alvi and Justice Wajeeh-u-Din; you said you have serious doubts on their political awareness. Brother I strongly disagree with you; because IK was at the same level 15 years back. IK was a novice in politics but now he has groomed himself up to that competency.
At the end, it is Loyalty and Ideology which matters not the Political Awareness, Fame and Ideology... | |

I don't seem to recall dr alvi, wajeeh saab or Hamid saab being appointed as result of internal party elections, they are all direct appointments from the CEC (which itself is selected, not elected) or the chairman himself
Until we hold inter party elections, these kind of questions will surface every now and then

| we should be accept him because it is honour of our party the whose name shah mahmood qurashi who resigned his parliament seat on stance of pakistan. is now our second chairman. if he accept us due to all achievement than why we not.

| We should remember that , CEC, is the actual powerful body of PTI . the major decision are taken under the supervision of CEC,. and I am assuming CEC has veto authority, I believe , the membership is closed for any new comer.
CEC is the fruit of 15 years of struggle by PTI and Imran Khan, and CEC is the supreme authority of PTI. therefore ,ranks outside CEC has lesser value. | | | |
