| Assalam O Alikum,
While I do not believe that PTI cannot win without the so-called "electable" and am all for giving young blood maximum chances in line with our ideaology, the continous hue & cry over this issue has made me post this thread. An unfortunate incident yesterday showed the magnitude of the problem.
Do you know that to date less than 70 ex mna/mpa's have joined PTI in Punjab (data being continuous updated) where more than 500 candidates would be required for elections including the local government elections. And what more, none of them have been given any tickets either. Can you see the bigger picture now? It is more of the propaganda by pro-status co parties who wants to lure these same so-called "electables" but failing that start attacking PTI.
Last but not the least no one can close the party doors for anyone as we need votes from all BUT yes, as Khan sb promised both publicly and to us in person no wrong person would be given any ticket and in urban centres it will be youth Insha Allah. And we all can and should jointly work to ensure this happens.
Furthermore Chairman Imran Khan has specifically mentioned repeatedly that no-one would be given a ticket without passing through the filter, which has actually started working. Being a co-ordinator in the Punjab Election Cell, I can confirm that these principles are being adhered to and work is being done on these ground.
We have been further assured that the parlimentary board would certainly consider these recommendations and no corrupt or ill-reputed person, no matter how strong, would be given the party ticket.
Last but not the least, if a thief breaks into your house what would you do? Kick out the thief or burn your house?. Think about it

There are points in this thread, previously communicated only to Khan sb and some senior members of PTI only but everyone needs to be aware of them now to counter the anti-PTI propaganda which resulted in the ugly event at the PTI office yesterday. | |

we agree with all these points, but the only fear that people have is that who is in the commettie who will decide the tickets, for example vice president (Mr. SMQ) will not be the part of that commettiee, similarly if Khursheed Qasuri joins and given the post of Gen Secratery , will he be not the part of commettiee.
it will be much better to announce the names of the commettiee, so it will satisfy the people.
second thing "wbutter" as you are the web modreator , please convey the message to IK sb that please don't particpate in each and every joining ceremony because it gives an un due importance to the new comers, we should not close our doors to any Pakistani but we should also not given an extra importance. | | | |

your post was much needed in the current scenario.... cause this debate has gone to worst yesterday and become the reason of embarrassment for ideological PTI workers. in my opinion some one from official PTI carder should continuously respond to such threads so that PTI members could be aware of party policy, rather than satisfying each other will false assumptions.! hope to see your regular presence on forum...! best of luck in future endeavors, especially candidate scrutiny..!

why did you have to clarify, why not IK or someone from top crust bothered.
and about yesterday they fight was started from SHer Pao's group not from us.
IK really did not like when PMLN took all credit for BAHAL ADLIYA. why?
Becasue he struggled too and he was ignored when winning moment arrived. why didnot he think about the cause only.

When so many people aspiring to stand behind clean people get together on a single platform with their own divergent definitions of cleanliness, varying access to unbiased information, differing understanding of sociopolitical constraints, and islands of loyalties, this is likely to happen. We should pay close attention to this rising risk. Resolving conflict between different shades of truth is much more difficult than simply distinguishing black and white. | @sadaf.nawab, IK did not go blabbing about it on every talk show and did not cry foul that PML-N stole the victory credits for themselves...he has the principle of carrying on and never looking back.
As for anyone still feeling unsecure about new vs. old, well lets say you just joined the party, and you were prevented from doing so citing the principle that the old people will stay no matter how talented or sincere you might be to the cause. How would you feel?
If somebody is crying foul over not getting nominated for election seats (which is absurd because nomination process hasn't even begun yet), then they're fighting for power and probably would be willing to trample on all sorts of moral, financial and human rights obligations.
But unfortunately, still today elections can only be contested by the rich and resourceful since electioneering is a very costly process...it MUST be changed! | |

Just today again, Khan sb confirmed this that NO one would get the ticket without passing through party filters and maliksaab explained some valid points too. | Evolution is a process and it goes through faces, however we are going through a revolution in Pakistan and the process is very fast. We need rapid adjustments for daily changes and carry on.
PTI is a strength in Making and it is blessed BY all Mighty ALLAH.
Our nation deserves much better future and we must have a strong faith to get it. We will design such systems of governance that no one would be able to hide anything. National Assembly:272
Punjab Assembly:297
Sindh Assembly:130

Balochistan Assembly:51
In addition to this, there would be some nominations for the reserved seats in all the assemblies,depending upon how many seats PTI wins in general elections.If we also count some seats for the Senate, the aggregate goes upto 1000.So, insafians, why are you so much worried?New and young faces will get more than 50% representation.In the next elections, this percentage would get further high once IK comes into power and delivers good for the people.Mark my words! | Democracy should start within the party. Why PTI does not have election within the Party? Why Shah Mehmood Quersihi has been appointed Vice President? Why not a party worker who has sacrificed for the past ten years for PTI was appointed Vice President? Why a new comer?
This trend is not good and it will lead to corrupt people taking over the Party and may side line IK in the long run. I think IK should seriously evaluate the party situation and should make a bold decision which will save his party and his legacy. Failure to show the leadership Imran and his party will become another party of feudal lords and industrialist who are ruling Pakistan since 1947 and responsible for the mess we are in now.
If the current scenario continues, there won't be a revolution in Pakistan. The hopes and dreams IK has given to the people of Pakistan will not materialize. It will be politics as usual.
I urge the dear Jiyalas of PTI not to get emotional when some criticize IK. Take this opportunity to challenge and tell him that the recent decision he has made are taking the party in the wrong direction. May be with your help, he will wake up and save the party from sinking . Otherwise. Ther will be no difference between PTI, PPP or PML-N.
IK needs help from PTI Jiyalas to realize that he is making some serious mistakes. Jiyalas will be as much guilty as much IK if you fail to tell the right thing. The failure of citizen revolution which people of Pakistan are dreaming IK will bring will be shattered.
Save Pakistan PTI Jiyals by challenging IK. | | | |
