| good poem. but I hope other members don't flame me for saying this:
Imran Khan is, no doubt, a very good leader and really the only one we can look up to in current turmoil, but please remember that ideologies are more important than the people. Otherwise PTI would become something like any other party in which leaders are virtually worshipped. Imran Khan is a great person but he is a human being, so if we know he is doing the right thing, we should support him unconditionally, and if (supposedly) he starts to go down the wrong path (e.g. when he declared his support for Musharraf) we should be the ones to stop him.
I am sure you didn't write the poem with that in mind, it's just something I wanted to get off of my chest, lol. May be I am a little too concerned after a heated discussion with a friend (was trying to convince him to join PTI). I hope PTI grooms itself into a party that stands behind an ideology instead of one that stands behind a person or a family (we already have too many of those). | |
