| | I as most of the Pakistanis was under the delusion that media act as the most responsible entity of Pakistan. It gives us sense of reality so we can differentiate between good and evil. But the recent sialkot incident act as an eye opener for me. It started with Geo and Duniya news n then every channel starting showing the disturbing footages of the hideous act by the villagers again and again, they starting showing footages of DPO that he was present at the crime scene and was involved in the whole incident. Geo and Duniya news took his interview but forgot to air it. people are shown just one side of the story. DPO Sialkot in his interview to Express news told that when he reached the crime scene the boys were dead and there bodies were hanging he negotiated with the aggressive mob to get the bodies but no one is in a mood to listen to him.and the guy from Duniya news who recorded the whole incident is being portrayed as a hero, nobody asked him that why he was the covering the incident for the publicity of his channel instead of trying to save the poor brothers. Media is saying that DPO was present during the whole scene but they don't have any footage to prove it. I saw a video in which a police officer tries to stop the man beating one of the boy when some villagers says "inuu goli maru". media is showing just that that part of the story which is more spicy and catchy...I appeal to all Pakistanis please open your eyes and see the truth, rely on your senses instead of media and save the innocent DPO from further public humiliation | | | |
