| I am not sure who mentioned this but PTI has evolved into a different space now.
Their focus should be and is on strengthening the party. Organizing conventions etc
I urge the members not to post too many articles on the joinings now.
PTI--People joined. After 1990s elections (don't know the exact year), only ~12 were left. After Lahore Jalsa, massive surge!!! Now, intra party elections.. Good move.

DR AQ Khan won't join PTI as yet but he has announced to support PTI. I think that will work best for both sides. If Dr AQ Khan joins party and contests for Chairman or vice Chairman or president in party elections and wins that would cause issues for party I guess as he doesn't have political experience. | | My comments are my personal views and make no representation of party policies. | |

| | I agree with Leader that its a good move that he will support PTI on different grounds. I think his experience in science and technology can benefit us a lot in making our party policies. Secondly, IK offer him to be patron in cheif of the party and for that he don't need to play active role in politics infact PTI can use his support to win more people on our side because both IK and AQ are anyways our national heros. | | ---------- Muhammad Ajmal Choudhary. Dara Bashir quits MIL, likely to join PTIByShahid Abbasi -
Apr 23rd, 2012
Karachi:
Dara Bashir Khan, a renowned name in Pakistan media, is likely join
Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf after saying goodbye to his more than three
decade advertising career.
After his bold decision to join media
industry to politics, he has left the chairmanship of OMD and PHD Media
Pakistan. He is also owner and CEO and Owner of Manhattan International
Limited (MIL), which is considered one of the leading advertising
companies in top five ranking. He is highly educated having foreign
degrees in the discipline of advertisement and marketing from University
of Oxford and Florida. Khan is considered a good addition in the PTI prospective as he is an intelligent mind having good reputation in media industry. PTI officials did not deny his joining in the party but they did not official declare his political affiliation in the party. Asad Umar, a tycoon of corporate world, recently quit Engro Corporation as President and CEO to join PTI. Political analysts say that addition of
top guns of corporate sector and media industry will not only boost the
image of the PTI but their role will also expand the circle of party
circle and affiliation in corporate and business world of the country. Source: http://www.thenewstribe.com/2012/04/23/dara-bashir-quits-mil-likely-to-join-pti/#.T5Vz51RPKxS.
I think Asad Umar's joinning has started showing its impact.
