Jhelum consists of two NA seats (NA-62,63) and 4 PA seats.Its not good situation in jhelum due to many groups of PTI fighting each other and issuing statements in newspapers against each other and opponents laugh on PTI.Its very dangerous situation here in Jhelum.
Usman Chohan is deputy regional organiser of North punjab and he wants to contest from NA 63 which consists of jhelum city and Pind dadan khan tehsil.There are two PA seats in that constituency,PP26 (jhelum city) and PP-27 Pind dadan khan.Although,Usman chohan is working hard but he can not win that seat because he does not have personal vote bank and political background.People don,t take him as serious candidate.PTi has large vote bank in jhelum city but in rural areas,politics moves around DHARRAs,brotheri and influence.No influencial candidate joined PTI from this constituency because no potential candidate is welcome to join PTI to make it save for usman chohan to get ticket.Ch.nazar gondal Ex MPA from PP-27 joined PTI but he is not comfortable with usman Chohan.

Ch.Muhammad Saqlain won many times from PP-24 Sohawa.He contested last time with the alliance of PMLn because of differences with Ex District Nazim Ch.farrukh Altaf (son of ex Punjab Governor late Ch.Altaf Hussain) and won with big majority and later joined PMLN.
He joined PTI and wanted to contest election from NA 62.Although,he is strong candidate but he wants his brother for MPA seat from PP-24(sohawa) and bad reputed family member for PP-25 dina-jhelum) which is unacceptable for local PTI officials and usman chohan and I think its fair decision of Pti local officials to discourage it.if Ch.saqlain demands are met then PTI is more likely to loose in this constituency because of weak and same jatt brother icandidates for MNA and MPA seats.PTI local organisation dominated by Usman chohan is interested to introduce new MPA candidates but these are wealthy and enjoys foreign nationalities but does not have influence in local politics and groups and its very unlikely that they can win seats for PTI.
Ch.farrukh Altaf ex district nazim(son of late Governor Ch>Altaf Hussain,nephew of ex federal minister Ch.Shahbaz Hussain and cousin of Ch.Fawad Hussain) was interested to join PTI but was denied strongly by PTI local organisation due to strong reservation about their past and likely public reaction of public.They are influencial and vote bank in both constituencies.
PTI interests are being compromised for the sake of individuals in Jhelum and PTI Jhelum so called nazryati and new comers like Ch.saqlain do not care if PTI wins or not.What they need is, Qabza and domination in PTI.They have to compete strong rivals like Raja Afzal khan (PMLN) ,Ch Farrukh Altaf (PMLQ) and Ex MNA Nawabzada Iqbal mehdi but there are big holes in PTI ranks.I am disappointed with current situation and media war against each other which is providing fuel to opponents to make joke of PTI.I would request to PTI leadership to address this issue,otherwise it will be very late for us to control its damages.
I heard Imran saying that he likes Fawad Ch but some groups are strongly opposing his inclusion. I think Fawad Ch is a very talented and out spoken person. He was with Mush but so what, we have many others who were with Mush. Also Fawad comes from an influential family of Jehlum, he has a potential win NA seats from Jehlum. So I think these "Nazriyati" supporters of PTI should keep their egos in check and think about PTI's ultimate gain instead of their own gain.
PTI has a serious issue with the so called "Nazariyati" cadres, you Nazriyat come in to play when you form a government not by sitting outside the parliament and point fingers at everyone. | | | |

we need seats and it is necessary to welcome every one who has vote bank and influence in constituency.
if there are some allegation against some one, that person is black only if it is proved by the court. otherwise that gentleman is white.allegation are the part of our Pakistani politics.
we need to accept all influential persons, if they want to follow imran khan. our courts are forum to decide who is eligible and who is not eligible, and allegations are allegation only.
Imran Khan needs to come into power, then only some change will be possible.
Otherwise, we will just sit and cry over split milk.
The discussion of Nazriyat should be allowed after getting some specific position.
We need to come into Parliament and then sort out things.
Our Nazriyati guys are sorting out things, when there is nothing in hand to sort out.
Come on guys, first, come in parliament with maximum number of seats , then sort out your members. If some one is not following the party Nazriya, let him leave or force him to follow the party nazrya. He will choose one of the two options.
Right now it is useless to discuss who is nazriyati and who is not sincere.
Let the time come and then sort out things, we are doing it too earlier.
In this way, we are loosing many potential people.
right now, we need to include all influential people in the party, and win maximum seats.
I am not in Pakistan,but I am worried about Pakistan. I am waiting PTI to win anxiously. I do not have any personal interests, but I love to see Pakistan in better position.I am sure, and it is my faith,that Imran Khan will do that.
Accept any one who can help us to achieve the goal of forming government.

I am very much relieved to hear this ..this is very good thing happen for PTI..
in case Sumaira had joined PTI an endless propoganda from Chaha Nusrat javed of PPP (Bolta Pakistan) , Sana Bucha Sharif (PML N) of lekin and from similar was ready to hit PTI.
most of the time only a small video clip or photo makes a non reversible impression.
Remember that 12th May, when MQM killed 50 people in Karachi and on that night Musharaf held a Jalsa in Islamabad and it was that Sumaira Malik standing on Right side of Musharaf waving to the people and Musharaf was saying that Today people in Karachi have shown their power...(justifying killing of 50 people by hands of MQM) ...
Just imagine if that clip is played by anti PTI media time and again, it would have been impossible to defend that...
was Sumaira necessary to win one National Assembly seat..answer is NO

So i am keeping my fingers cross for NA-69 this time..a very tough competition is expected but Umer Aslam Khan has every chance to win seat this time with PTI ticket.
Now Sister of Sumaira , Ayela Malik is in PTI. she joined one month ago..thats interesting situation ..
infact Sumaira met Nawaz Sharif almost 6 months ago to discuss joining, as per reports at that time Nawaz Sharif wanted Sumaira to contest from Mianwali against Imran Khan , being the grand daughter of Nawab of Kalabagh they enjoy good following in Mianwali
Sumaira was reluctatnt and she did not joined at that time .
after joining of Malik Umer family to PTI , now Nawaz had no other option but to accept sumaira without any conditions

I agree with you that for electoral politics and success it is very important to have a party structure,and ensure that people are facilitated in casting their votes as much as possible.
The people who do electoral politics,who have experience of it,there focus is on these things and they try to make their organised teams in the whole constituency on this basis.So for these people this is not an issue,all they need than is people who come out and vote for them.
Thankfully now as awareness has increased,people have learned importance and ways of electoral politics and most importantly as people who have experience of electoral politics,people who want to contest elections and want PTI to win seats have joined PTI since than this very important point has been addressed in most areas.
but these are things that can be discussed in detail and confirmed only by people from every city(constituency),who are involved with Organisational matters of PTI and are aware of it from the city to union council level,and that what steps are being taken to ensure that in elections every polling station is covered with people,camps,polling agents,transportation,etc.

| My brother Raja Mohsin Ali who has experience of electoral politics is involved in organising PTI in Islamabad,Particularly in NA 48 Islamabad he is organising party from city to union council level(which in Islamabd is mostly sectors),they are keeping in contact with people,making sure that their votes are registered and plan to facilitate them during elections as well.
This is an ongoing process and so still there is a lot of work to be done.I will try to keep on updating and sharing the latest information from on ground activities.
so far the situation is good,especially they have come across many people who support PTI and are interested to vote for it in elections.
In NA 48 Islamabad there will be one to one contest between PTI and PML N.
In 2008 elections(in NA 48) many of my relatives,friends did not vote(wanted to vote for PTI but it boycotted),others(extended family),friends either voted for PML N or PPP.Now every one of us will vote for PTI(the voters have further increased with more people including myself now eligible to vote by being 18+),Same is the situation with many others,apart from that there are many voters who never took part in elections but now they wil vote for PTI(the new voters).
Than i think according to my analysis there is 15 000 or so swing voters who vote according to where the popular wave is.In 2002 elections these votes went to MMA and in 2008 to PML N,now so far it is in favour of PTI and will only pick up further momentum close to elections,partly influenced by PTI activities and situation in the country and working of local PTI members in the city(this will also help to capitilise on this popular wave in the form of votes)
There are almost 200 polling stations and nearly 250 000 registered voters in NA 48.
I expect PTI to win this Seat by taking more than 60 000 votes InshALLAH.
The selection of candidate and election symbol is awaited which are very important things.

That 6 months ago sumaira met with NS and showed her willingness to Join PML (N)..Nawaz tried to use Sumaira against IK in Mianwali but Sumaira was reluctant so she did not decide to join PML (N) at that time
now under a new situation when Umer Aslam is in PTI..Sumaira has joined N and ofcourse she will remain in NA-69 against Umer Aslam | | | |

" PTI has also gained a good momentum in Rawalpindi district and many key political figures of Rawalpindi have joined PTI. Sadaqat Ali Abbasi who is Organizer of PTI for Northern Punjab is doing a great work in this regard and he has worked day and night for last several years to strengthen the party at grass root level in all Tehsils of District Rawalpindi. Recently Rashid Hafeez Ex MPA has joined PTI who is a well known political figure of Rawalpindi. Joining of Rashid Hafeez in PTI has given a great boost to PTI in Rawalpindi. Rashid Hafeez was elected an MPA on PML-Q ticket in 2002 elections.
Apart from Rashid Hafeez, Raja Tariq Mahboob Kiyani has also joined PTI from Rawalpindi. Tariq Mahboob Kyani is Ex District Nazim and is a well known political figure of the Rawalpindi region. After joining of Tariq Kiyani, political activities of PTI in district Rawalpindi have significantly increased.
Another well known politician of Rawalpindi who recently joined PTI is Rahat Masood Qudoosi who joined PTI after meeting party Chairman Imran Khan. Pirzada Rahat Masood Qudoosi runs a well known School System in Rawalpindi and he was advisor of Ex-Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
It's important to mention here that Fiaz Ul Hasan Chohan joined PTI about a year back and he is also a very active politician of Rawalpindi. Fiaz Ul Hasan Chohan remained MPA of PML-Q by winning PP-14 elections in 2002. Fiaz Ul Hasan Chohan is very active in mobilizing PTI workers and is working hard at grass root level."
My friends discussing situation of Rawalpindi!! can u plz elaborate the new situation after these joinings cause these r mainly provincial candidates.which NA candidate are they supporting??..In 2008 PML n took all but one seat of Rawalpindi.from NA 50 to NA 56.
Two seats are of CH Nisar and One of Hanif Abbasi..One of SHahid Khakan Abbassi..What are the prospects now.. | | | |

| i raised one boring point a few days ago about "in party propoganda for seats". Now this thing has become serious.
Today Shah Mehmood Qureshi visited Gujranwala because S.A Hameed (former MPA of PML-N) who has joined PTI and wanted to compete against Khurram Dastgir from NA96 has raised question against party discipline of PTI because another person owner of SUPER ASIA (one of the leading company) put his banners across the city claiming that he is going to compete from NA96 and situation is getting worse.
Today Shah Mehmood Qureshi made clear that seats have not been finalised and will be decided purely on merit but situation is not clear. Everybody wants to have a go and it may lead to confusion.
Well, i hope so PTI starts finalizing the candidates especially from the areas where they are certain so that ground work may start.
Now no person is doing any work because they are not sure who is going to compete. This is not loyality with the party. This is such selfishness. IK should take action otherwise this virus may spread to other cities as well. | | | |

| Different groups are operating in rawalpindi division particularly in Taxila,islamabad,Rawalpindi and Jhelum which is damaging PTI badly in this region.Leadership does not seem to be interested to bring these factions in discipline.
I posted my comments yesterday about Jhelum.Deputy organsier North Punjab created mess just to secure his own ticket in NA 63 and issues statmenets in press against the expected new joinings.If he gets ticket,he will surely loose easily because of no political base and personal vote bank and many other factors.
Current organsiation is very ineffective and every one is candidate.They are enjoying powers in jhelum and no new electable is allowed to join PTI.They will surely contest election and will make opponents to laugh on PTi.
In Taxila,khawaja Imtiaz is playing same role at the name of nazryati group but these so called nazrayati are playing games for their personal game.Every one knows that these so called nazrayati members did not create its own vote bank and when PTI got popularity.They want to get benefit and creating mess within party.They want ticket and oppose Ghulam Sarwar Ex MNA to give ticket.There is no doubt that only Ghulam sarwar can give tough time to Ch.Nisar and trouble makers are not able to get more than 10,000 at party ticket.If u are sincere to party,you should allow electibles to contest elections to make game even,otherwise wining election will be dream.people still vote for old politician and you should not expect that people would vote KHAMBA. | | | |

I used to write on this forum regularly but since a year or two I just read , however I was forced to write after reading a few of the comments here , let me say this much I was shocked or allow me to be a bit "un parlemantry , I was disgusted by reading what sone of you had to say about the old timers , perhaps u be forgotten that this "NAZRAYATI CADRE" was laughed at for 15 years ! Mocked ! And god knows what else but they refused to change their loyalties and stayed steadfast however if they read what you have to say I am sure it will sting worse than the 15 years of sarcasm , I am not against the joining of electable s but I for one will tolerate the time tested leaders being ridiculed here! | | | |

| Nobody is laughing at anyone and no one can take the place of old members. I joined PTI 3 years back in Dubai but then what ? Would it make any difference if i joined it yesterday? No.
All the old members were striving hard for people to join PTI and now when they are joining then people are making fuss of it.
Problems are not everywhere. These are only in some areas.
And let me say it very clear, If old members were working very hard only to win tickets then i am sorry they were not Nazryati People. Only a selfless person can be a Nazryati member.
We should raise every point here in forum no matter if it is against PTI so that we can work to make it right but at the main time we should be careful of the propoganda.
PTI is in formation stage so just be patient and some wrong things are expected to happen. Then what? It happens.
