I would encourage IK to take this often suggested move seriously this time. This is as glaring a violation of Pakistani sovereignty as when the murderer Raymond Davis killed Pakistanis and was protected by Americans. Phir topi drama chal raha hai. Pak Goverment saying "We have asked them to go, but they won't go" is BS. Do you really think if we ever wanted them out, there they won't leave the very next minute? We will have to do what this government of pussies will never do. If we don't go to Shamsi next, we won't be able to justify PTI's position as fighting for justice, freedom and independence. We have done the good work and raised the pressure against Drone attacks... Now its so close that you can smell it. To use a cricketing slogan, "Girti hui Dewaron ko, ek dhaka aur doh".

OR. we can all look the other way and believe in our suited booted Gilani , the puppet prime minister, that Shamsi base is used only for surveillance drones and not the predator drones.

Shamsi airfield, also called Bandari, is a small Air Force's airfield and air station located in Balochistan, Pakistan, about 200 miles (320 km) southwest of Quetta near the town of Washki..... Wikipedia. The above info may be correct or not. However, someone from this area could confirm it .

Drones are now conducted from Jalalabad and not Shamsi Base though its still in US control

This is what Gilani said too. That Shamsi base is no longer used for predator drones. At the same time, the US spoke person stated that Ghazi base will not be vacated. Under these circumstances there is no guarantee that the base may not be used for predator drones again. Notwithstanding all this, I think it would be in the public interest that an independent source, appointed by the Supreme Court, conducts an inspection of the base to satisfy the general public that everything is correct, as stated by Gilani. The base, in the past has been used to kill innocent people, and for all we know it is still the case. So this approach of "he said," "she said'' has to stop. And I refer to three contradictory statements made by the present government. Gilani, Firdaus, and the defence minister
