Ater 13years we manageed less than 10,000 votes from a constituency NA123 where in 2002 our candidate got around 3000 votes means what? I think there is nothing to brag about. I must say our top officials should seriously think about and try to identify the problem and address the same without wasting any further time. Since there were no candidate contesting from PPPP & PML(Q) so it was understood that all pppp and PML(Q) voters won't vote for PML(N) and obviously PTI was better choice for pppp voters who used their voting right. However, i wonder what our party officials were doing who reside in Lahore and spend their whole time in Lahore. Is there anyone to ask them of what they have done over years???? In my opinion if we dont learn from this defeat and we dont offer proper solution to the core issues links to PTI performance so surely we can't expect any major break through in next general elections as well. We definitly need change inside to ensure change outside. We desperately need some political brains to lay down a proper strategy to compete against PML(N) in Punjab, PPPP in rural areas of Sindh, however in Urban areas we can have coalition with JI to give healthy competition with MQM. In NWFP we must focus and put our full time efforts as we can pull out magical results from this perticular province. In Balochistan we can look for those who are not influenced of feudals and sardars. The most important is we shoud offer right candidate to people. If we offer bad image, distrustful and non credible candidate so surely we can't expect people to vote for us. No doubt people do vote on party manifesto but if we dont follow our own manifesto and do not offer candidate on merit so its obvious people will look for other options. A proper homework is essential prior to top level decisions. Candidate credibility, character,Competency are prerequisits for awarding ticket and that must be taken seriously into consideration. If we are ready and open to change ourself we can surely change the world. But if we are reluctant and scared to welcome changes which are vital so, surely we will lose ultimately. I would like to request to all those party officials and position holders who are holding top offices to must justify their positions by their work and performance. With all my respect those who does not have time but holding positions and offices, should give chance to those who are ready to perform rather simply wasting party precious time. I am pretty much sure that true efforts will never go waste. Let's be positive and look forward ways to improve PTI performance to become No.1 as No.1 is No.1 and No.2 is next to none. So lets keep the hope alive till we find our destiny. God bless Pakistan...God Bless PTI..God bless IK

@Mian gee we have heard about Ijaz Ahmed Jazi that many of pti members did not like him but my question is why party leadership still brought him up and offered seat? Is there any criteria to to follow or its simply a decision come through influenced people?

Well Mr. Syed as per my knowledge and experience we are still not organized. Our party structure is very confusing. Unfortunately, we could not build a team of intellectuals with political essence which can backup IK. I am sorry to say majority of our CEC members are not capable to sit in CEC so what output you can expect? I must say IK should think about it seriously and put right people on top. After 13 years we got less than 10000 votes and i have seen our top members are busy congratulating each others......however for me its shameful result. // As for as our candidate in Rawalpindi Mr. Ijaz Ahmed is concerned so i personally dont know him but our members at ground level from the same constituency were not happy with his selection and i have heard this guy is not credible. That is why our own pti members did not vote for him and ultimately we end up with 3000 votes. However, for IK there is lesson to do not compromise on principles and do not offer failed, bad rated people because it will damage the spirit of our party and also it puts people in doubt about our efforts to offer neat and clean leadership.

As far as selecton of candidate is concerned I think we can follow U.S. Model where the candidate has to run a primary election in which workers from that constituency should vote. The winner gets to run for National election. this helps bringing the right candidate who has the party workers behind him. To me this is democracy at grass root level.

US model can be adopted lekin baat phir wahi aa jati hai: karey ga kon? This require a clear and firm stand from the high-ups that whatever mess has created within PTI so far must be cleaned. Once and for all.
