| Last night I was watching BOLTA PAKISTAN which I religiously watch and at the end of it, Nusrat Javed (NJ) said that this morning I received THREATENING text messages from PTI supporters suggesting that I take Lifafas (envelopes) from Zardari and tow their line.
What is alarming about this scenario is PTI members who are supposedly educated, young and striving for change can stoop down to such levels where they can use the ways which makes them no better than other dregues of the society.
This not only show their educational background but also the ebb of their mindset.
I know people will come out and say this might have been done by "OTHERS" but the type of NJ bashing going on on this forum, I can firmly say that this might have been done by one of PTI members and if not atleast they have given a chance to others by even coming out by such a stupid and petty issue on this forum.Â
Now, as a matter of repair work and urgency, some member of the high ups phone them online during the show and not only apologise but also say that the matter has been investigated and we are not a party who beleive in violence and such tactics.
Let me remind you all that it was NJ who said Imran will be our OBAMA i.e. only he can bring change in PK. In the programme on W'day he said that Imran propagates change yet he contests elections with Raj Kumars not Shahrukh Khans of politics implying instead of bringing change he is relying on jaded and corrupt horses of politics.
Whether anyone else or not, I am in agreement with him (NJ) in entirety that CHANGE will come with new blood not with Jazi, Mairaj or someone suggested Mustafa Khar. I am as disappoinited as Nusrat Javed has been
Even Imran in his recent interview on WAQT TV said that he will bring change with new people yet he talks the talk but does not walk the walk.
Cheers, Kaleem

| | PTI activists should not behave in such a condemnable way.what nusrat javed has said should be seriously considered by the workers of PTI, our candidate should not be like that of q leauge or mqm, Nusrat Javed once in a program said that Imran and Aitzaz are the politicians who can be obama of Pakistan, he never criticises PTI in the way in which N League's lawyer Irfan Siddiquie or PP's liar Nazir Naji do. Irfan, Nazir and Hasan Nisar dislike PTI because of their affiliations with other parties, Nusrat Javed is a sincere journalist and PTI activists should not treat him in this way. | | | |

| I wonder why these so called establishment fed joournalists keep their mouth shut when PML N used to intimidate them in 2 previous governments (1990,1997) of Nawaz. Text messages is nothing compared to what Nawaz/Musharraf/Bhutto/Zia did to press and media. So instead of crying on TV by discussing some fake sms messages these journalists must check their bank balances and plots which they were awarded by successive governments.

Apart from Haroon ul Rasheed most of them are working on promoting PML N agenda.

| Nazir Naji is suspected to be on payroll list of PP,
but Nusrat Javed can not be bracketed with these lafafa journalists, i have never heared him saying anything wrong about PTI and Imran, if he is pointing out the credibility of our candidates, then it is his right and duty.

| | I have just sent a mail to bolta Paksitan apologizing on behalf of PTI workers and saying that we in PTI are a pool of educated youth and don't believe on this type of threatening politics. This type of stupidity done by any individual (whether party member or not) doesn't reflect the psychology of the party and we respect the right of media person to praise as well as criticize us. | | http://www.pakpoliticsinfo.blogspot.com | |

| WE the PTI supporters/members should have courage to accept criticism. If one of us (PTI) loose his/her temper upon criticism on party or IK and behave like what NJ claims then it'll just spoil PTI image nothing else. By sending threating SMS one can't stop "lafafa journalism". Each one of US is representing PTI. Don't spoil it if one can't build positive image of party.
God bless you All. | | | |

| I see a great opportunity to improve things here:
1. Think about our candidates: is riwaiti better than ghai riwaiti 2. Public relationing with TV anchors and journalists / columnist 3. Researching what Pakistanis really want and including that in our manifesto / objectives 4. Creating a niche of our own as opposed to sounding like Ji and extreme right. 5. working on the 'silent majority' i.e. women and youth.

| Talat uses a very civilized word, "riwaiti" candidate.
The fact of the matter is that on the one hand PTI makes big claims for high moral standards, criticizes professional politicians; yet it is also picking up same kind of politicians.
If you claim that you represent a change, but gives the party ticket to professional politicians, except die hard pary workers and candidate's personal, vote bank people would not vote for you. Period.

Riwaiti candidate could also mean the average corrupt types we have in our politics today. I am thinking that sincere non-corrupt politicians may have been in the parliament before and may be considered 'ghair riwaiti'. I don't think there is any harm in fielding such former politicians who are known for their sincerity and integrity.

| well, a clean, sincere politician can be included. However, politicians with tarnish reputation is a different matter altogether. We can not argue that somebody is innocent until proven guilty. This argument does not have any appeal to people. Because then most of the corrupt politicians are not proven guilty yet. A general reputation is the best available criteria.

Apart from Haroon ul Rasheed most of them are working on promoting PML N agenda. Sufghan!
That makes Haroon Rasheed on PTIs payroll, if you have an outsider's view.
Haroon Rasheed's inclination towards Imran is so much that in a recent episode of 4man show, Haroon Rasheed's (look alike) has been asked Why you write so much about Imran? So even the comedy shows take note of that......
Sufghan! There is nothing wrong in having views but if they become so strong that you cannot look back and have a REVIEW, it will start playing with the line between sanity and insanity.
One can only make him/herself better, if they listen to criticism and see whether it is right or wrong and then act accordingly.
What I tried to highlight is do we really have to send a threatening message and you out rightly without finding the facts rejected it and called it a 'fake' message although on this very forum suggestions were made that NJ is biased and the very next day NJ came out that he received a threatening message which implies that there is a possibility that someone may have sent a message and we should unanimously condemn it.
So dear sufghan! lets start to accept our mistakes and learn from it. Imran Khan did make a mistake about Jazi though very late but later realised it although there are people on this forum (including myself) have been saying it for almost a year that his reputation is questionable, nobody listened and PTI paid the price and if they continue to do that they will not see me and you on this forum.
One does not have to have a say in every matter and someone in Urdu said
"Jitni kum sachayee hogi, utni hi raanayee hogi, Mazmoon se jub lafz hoan zayid, samjho k ibarat (writing) khtum hui"
Someone told me this long ago and I still remember it.
So look before you leap and take a step back and then say where it is required your input.
Cheers, Kaleem Â

| KKNiazi,
I think you are finding it hard to understand hardcore politics of Pakistan. In Pakistani politics if political party openly stand up and confesses mistake then to be honest they are finished product. Did Bhutto admit rigging of 1977 elections ? Did Musharraf admit 9/11 pro US policy a mistake? Did Zia ul Haq admit pro-Taliban-US policy of 1979? Did Nawaz Sharif admitted mistake of sacking Musharraf in 1999? Did Benazir publicly admiited mistake of boycotting 1985 elections? What you are saying is just rubbish. PTI already has taken some wrong decisions for example boycotting 2008 elections, pro taliban defending policy. Now internally it has caused problems but in public we have to stay united. Whenever PML N does a mistake they always defend themselves in public and media. You just cant go out and do useless apologies to these pro PML N and PPP media puppets. That is a disgrace and there is not proof that PTI member did it. So better learn the art of politics first and then go for public apologies otherwise PTI will lose credibility.

| Dear Brothers and Sisters,
PTI site is established to promote healthy Politics in Pakistan and to promote Tehreek-e-Insaf's policies, manshoor and ideology. But looking at the topics on this site all day long, seems to me that we are deviating from the actual goal and purpose.
It is not a pure Islamic site where you just talk about Islamic topics all day long. It is not a site just to express some bad improper and unethical words about the parties we do not like or hate. Some comments are just obscene about the opponents that shows that like the other parties the members of this party have the same tolerance level.
On this site, we should talk about harmony and peace,so we can unite all Pakistanis under the leadership of Imran Khan,  and how we can bring even the members of other parties to come here and read our program, our ideology and thus we can inspire them. Love begets love. Hate only produces hate.
Take an example from the talk-shows, In a talk-show even if Imaran khan has to sit with Imran Farooq, they would say " hello-hi-Salaam to each other" and would talk in a very respected and professional way, though both have different thoughts and complete different programs. Why we can not create such environment here? Why we can not even follow our leader?
I am of the view that we should promote such an healthy politics here that people of Pakistan, regrardless of their loyalty with other parties can proudly say that go to " insaf.pk" and learn how we should talk even against our opponents. This site should really set an example for the other parties and their so-called web-sites.
Friends like Tahir Bajwa and Pakhtoonkhwa are of the view that Islamic Shariya should be implemented readily and Pakistan is suffering all this because of this.
I respect their point of view. With due respect, I would say that during this crucial time, first try to save Pakistan who is facing the worst type of crisis right now and for this purpose, we should use our energy and writing power to strengthen Imran Khan to come to Power, then we would try to implement the 1973 constitution with its purity, and then " have Islamic Nazariyati council to submit the Musawwada for the Shariya after the approval of all sects of Islam" and then implement it.Â
But right now our entire strategy should be to promote PTI and its programs only. Let's try to avoid in lengthy discussions on the same topic again and again.
Also with all respect, try to criticize the opponents with respect and honour, if we want to attract Urdu-speaking of Karachi. Do not use the language of hatred. We should refrain the politics of tit for tat.
Right now in the polictcs of Pakistan no one is pious and qualify as a pure Taqi or Muttaqi. So far Imran Khan is the most patriotic, loyal and brave leader, though I do not consider him Muttaqi as well.
Also one last thing, all the politicians have some allegations on them. Rule of Islam is " unitill or unless it is not proved, he can be called Mulzim but not Mujrim" Let's try to follow this simple procedure.
Hope I did not hurt anyone.
