I called 1-877-721-9115 to donate $2000 during 1st telethon. The agent asked me how to pay & I said thru credit card. Then he took all the details relevant to credit card. And when I checked today my credit card account online today. Instead of one transaction of $2000 there are two transactions of diffferent amount took place, one $1992.97 & other $1989.48. I have called the said number 1-877-721-9115 twice & record my concern. But didn't get a response yet. Can anyone help me out?

asif....the very first thing to do would be to advise your credit card company that at least one of thoe transactions is in dispute. Ideally I would dispute both of them and re-submit a donation by another means directly to the IKRF account.

If not now, when? If not us, who?

you should call your bank to inform that your account has been charged twice.. ..what they will do is refund your account and then they will pursue with the IKRF.. .. After that you again phone on the above number and explain to them, hopefully you will get the refund and then bank will take his money back.. ..it happened with me aswell..so not to worry -

Yes muzna is right Call your credit card company and tell them about disputed transactions. They normally suggest you to pay the statemnet and that they would credit the amount in your card after 4 weeks (after they've investigated) Durring investigation, they would write to the relevant organistaion who has charged, if they reply they would have to justify as to why they charged twice (any evidence??etc) if they don't reply, insurance company for the credit card covers the disputed amount That's the beauty and the hassle of using credit card...... best wishes
