I am sorry to say it is not achievement because if PTI take more then 20K votes. In this constituency PTI average vote bank is 10K.

I don't think so. Blast couple of days before election had its effect and also PPP voters didn't come out to vote so IK wouldn't have been able to convince them to come out.

10K in a bye election against the might of Punjab Govt. and PMLN's big wigs day and night efforts (Hamza Shahbaz and the PMLN MNA 's from adjacent constituencies) against all odds the biggest being people's indifference towards bye election in a hardcore PMLN constituency is a good show . Our election commission starts the pre poll rigging by alloting PMLN 'a lion' , I am a firm believer that election symbols have some effect , though very small but an effect on the mentality of the voters . Election symbols should be basic like 'an arrow ' for PPP , 'a telephone' for PTI but 'a lion' is unfair . Imgaine 'an eagle' being an election symbol for PTI or 'a lota' for PMLQ , just think about the psycological effect it has . I would appreciate if anyone comments on my post.... thanks
