Asalam-alaikum, This is a short story from my childhood days. A story that provides a brief analysis about the politics of our country and the relationship between the people and the politicians. I remembered these events while witnessing the division among us upon the basis of political parties or anything else for that matter. I hope you gain something from this that may help you. Many years ago in my neighbourhood lived a boy Sikander aka bublo. Bublo owned a pair of dogs (at this point my religious minded friends will condemn Bublo and might even declare him a kafir) anyway,it was a male and a female . I liked the male who was friendly and open to people unlike the female who was very aggressive and really did a good job guarding, to the extent that nobody in the neighbourhood looked at Bublo with a meinli (tainted) eye. After 12 or 13 years one day the female got sick and eventually died. So Bublo's parents ordered him to take care of the situation as it was his pet. So he got a boori (sack) and called me over to help out. We could not do it alone and luckily a older boy (a medical college student) from our neighbourhood also joined in, he even advised us to use some soda powder as the koora-wala(rubbish) truck would not be there till tomorrow morning. At that time koora-wala trucks came early in the morning. So Bublo waited next day early in the morning for the truck and I joined him in his time of sorrow, the college guy also showed up. So koora-wala guys showed up and somewhat understood the situation and as they stopped in front of us jumping off one of them asked "Benazir kay Nawaz Sharif?". The college guy quickly answered Benazir, Bublo and I silent due to our general ignorance about the question. Sadly after a year the male also died. We knew the routine and were waiting again and the college guy joined us as he was leaving to get his bus anyway. The truck came along the koora-alay jumped off and one exclaimed "Oho babujee ki hoya". The same guy from last year who we came to know as John Masi (pronounced Jan) smiling asked "Benazir kay Nawaz Sharif ?". Both of us jumped and answered (much wiser now) "Nawaz Sharif". Bashira.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read and give me their honest/valuable opinion. Honest opinion is like gold in todays world. I would apologize for any offense, my intention was not to offend. I would also like to thank the administrator, who with patience showed tolerance for my escapade.
