It should be remembered that slave nations cannot form independent institutions...thus the fight for an independent judiciary is a fight for an independent Pakistan!

Regarding the health care policy, I can add valuable experience to this issue. I am specifically talking about rural BHUs and Tehsil Hospital dilemmas and failures.

The winter is almost over in the country and the rise of temperature has also transferred its warmth into the political scenario of the country. As the temperature is rising, the political environment is also getting blistered. But the boiling point of the political “amalgamation” will be attained in next 30 days, (commencing from today, 16^th February ’09). The Long-March, Possible disqualification of the Sharifs, Senate Elections and the appointment of new (defacto) Chief Justice of Pakistan are the “planned” issues, which are making the environment hot.

Insaf Research Wing(IRW) has been officially constituted. From what I have been told the matter was discussed at the cec meeting and there was a general consensus on the necessity of having such a wing.

Come, let us decide, based on our resources and abilities, what form of struggle we will embark on so that the poor, the workers and the youth can achieve the victory of seeing political change.

Pakistan has been oscillating between civilian and military rule since its inception in 1947. The Military has, by far, been the stronger party with 33 years of rule notched up versus 27 years of civilian government. Many problems associated with this oscillation have reached critical mass, hampering the state's sovereignty and stability as Pakistan faces numerous issues with no quick-fix resolution in sight. President Pervez Musharraf took power in Oct 1999 as a military dictator who finally removed his uniform in Nov 2007 after having re-established himself as the civilian President of Pakistan for a 5 year period, and having declared a state of Emergency - in fact a second coup.

Two young guys from PTI Islamabad chapter took the responsibility of organizing the party from gross root level. These guys believed that they can do it. So they started holding membership camps by themselves at a very small scale in different places in Islamabad.

Ideological compulsions often hand-tie us and make us lose sight of the real goal - of achieving a just and egalitarian society for people.
