London: A meeting was organised at Vista Centre Hounslow, to form an Events and Campaign Management Team. The meeting was coordinated by Mr Asad Mahmood who briefed the agenda to the attendees. The primary purpose of PTI UK is to be the funding arm of the party by financing jalsa’s, introducing premium donors, as well as intellectual support.

General Secretary PTI London Furqan Nadeem explained how campaigns and membership events would be focused on increasing paid as well as non-paid members. PTI UK platform will also be used to promote Pakistan and its potential by engaging key UK forums such as the Think tanks and British Parliamentarians, he added. Processes were defined and standard operating procedure was outlined to streamline event management.

PTI London elected officials present at the meeting included Asim Khan (President), Furqan Nadeem (General Secretary) and Zaid Khan (Finance Secretary). Other attendees at the meeting were Asad Mahmood, M Kashif Ihsan, Adeel Lodhi, Shirjeel Zafar, M Irfan, Anser Hashmi, Taqveem Siddique, Sayan Mirza, Kashif Khan, Shahid Ahmed, Hamid Raja and Fatimah Khan. These attendees consented to be the part of Events management team.

Next event management meeting to be held in two weeks time to further develop the ideas and discussion in the initial meeting.
