Dr Sher Afgan’s son Amjad Ali Khan joins PTI
MIANWALI, March 25: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Monday vowed to uproot the system based on injustice and inequality from the country with the support of poor and oppressed masses.
“PTI along with poor masses will fight to end oppression from the country. Poor masses will now rule the country and the cruel system will be razed out from Pakistan whereas 11th May will be the day of accountability for those people who have looted public money,” said PTI chief while addressing a major public gathering here at government high school ground.
While vowing to fulfill his all six promises made during PTI’s historic public gathering in Lahore on March 23rd, Imran Khan went on saying that his seventh promise with the public was that he would never bow before any foreign country, adding that he will not compromise on the sovereignty of the country at any cost. “I will not make the country as slave of America,” vowed Imran. After coming into power PTI would change the ‘Thana culture’ and all out efforts would be extended to ensure the timely justice for everyone, he maintained.
He said that powers would be ensured at grass root level and the committees would be formed in every village to monitor the concerned police stations and the Station House Officers (SHO) would also be removed if they failed to deliver.
PTI chief said that MNA’s and MPA’s would not be given the powers to appoint police inspectors in new Pakistan, adding that the development funds would also be given to the same committees so that they can utilize the government funds according to will of public.
“Our party tickets will be given to all candidates according to the will of Mianwali residents and elected office bearers of PTI,” he said.
Imran Khan said that the people would select their candidates, adding that the his party would distribute all the tickets on merit by ignoring all the references and favoritism.
He reminded that Allah Almighty does not change the condition of those nations who do not take interest in changing their own selves. PTI chairman said that despite being gifted by a number of natural resources, people in Mianwali could not get benefited from these resources, adding that the world was making progress whereas the people living in Mianwali were going backward.
He added that the PTI would have to compete with the parties of status quo during upcoming elections. “Kalabagh Dam will be formed after the will of our Sindhi brothers whereas no one will be allowed to take water from Sindh,” said Imran.
He said that after the formation of new Pakistan, people would not have to go abroad for getting jobs whereas the people from other countries would come to Pakistan for earning livelihood.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman congratulated the Amjad Ali Khan, son of late Dr Sher Afgan Niazi, for his participation in PTI. “Many people tried to stop me from owning Amjad Ali Khan due to controversial statements given by his father against me but i always taken every step for the sake of country instead of thinking about my own self,” he said.
