I am pleased at this that people are joining PTI.
But I would like to send a message to our leadership to be careful about people who are coming from other political parties because we donot want same corrupt people who keep on changing their parties. Public have so far this impression about PTI that its leaders are common people who are in the party to serve the public and this impression should remain. |

Does PTI has criteria to include people in party leadership. history shows us in Pakistan people with money and influence same people were always welcomed. if you analyze the history from Quaid to Zardari even in military regime they were writing the fate of ordinary people. in politics success come with curse of black sheep's. i am not trying to judgmental of any one but know 30 families closely tied promoting poverty in the country. i like Imran khan because he talks about national pride, which we lost some where in process. God Mercy on our Soul n condition. |

Thats what i was saying, we should have some criteria for inclusion in the party. Otherwise same corrupt people will come to the party who have been in other parties. And PTI will loose its identity. |

when can we expect party elections, people are now saying JI is the only democratic party in pakistan and i have no answers to it. when are we holding elections if anyone knows please let me know because i have few people on verge of joining pTi and this is one criticism of PTI |

yes, there should be some criteria for the people who are coming to PTI. it requires a debate within the party. in my opinion the criteria should be
1- the people coming to pti should not be feudals or capitalists so that pti can act according to its programm when it comes to power otherwise feudals and capitalists will hijack the party
2- a person joining pti should not be ever punished in any kind of corruption case.
3- he should not have his assets outside the country if he is living within pakistan.
4- people coming from other parties should not be given party ticket for the next elections for one time.for example if a person joins pti in 2009, he should not be given the ticket for elections of 2013. |

I think the only criterion should be ,
No corruption, criminal convictions in the past.
Rest of the things ( affiliations with other parties,fuedals,assest outside etc )are meaningless at this point.
Let me give an example: If Aitzaz joins the party what should be done?
Many of our present PTI members have assests outside pakistan, should we disqualify them?
We have to take great care in awarding tickets and above two points the most important. We are a growing party and we have to get are members form present day pakistan and not from some other world. |

Yes, lets get some ppl from Mars and invite them to join PTI. Here is a person whose affiliation was from a current governing party in Punjab yet he joined PTI which i think would be based on principles. Its not easy to leave a governing party, i am sure.
So, kindly welcome such persons instead of giving suggestions in response to such a news item. Forums are a good place for suggestions. |

Yes there should be criteria for being PTI Leader and getting ticket to stand in election but if someone wants to join PTI then it should be fine. This guy has just joined PTI like us. He hasn't been mae a leader. Like Ijaz Jazi, he hasn't been given a position in party. |
