Opposition not playing its due role: Imran Khan

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan underlined that opposition was not playing its due role because opposition’s basic task was to have check and balance on government instead of saving the system.

He expressed these views while talking to media after the inauguration of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Diagnostic center. The Chairman PTI said that the elections of local government should be held all over the country and the control of power should reach on gross root level.

He stated that law and order situation in Karachi was possible only when the law enforcement agencies and police would react impartially. He said that if opposition was playing its role properly then the fraud of Rental Power was impossible.

He also stated that government itself has admitted that drones attacks were killing the innocent people thus opposition should have walk out from the assembly in this regard.
