Current leadership's vested interest demands support of anti pakistan policies: Imran Khan

Lahore Feb 6th 2010: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that the existing  leadership in the parliament does not have the capacity to take out the country from  the present crisis, as their vested interest demands support of  anti pakistan policies.  He praised the role of media in igniting a soft revolution in the country. He said the time is ripe for change and he emphasized  that women and youth can play a vital role in bringing about this Change and making Pakistan a truly sovereign state. He said the pakistan is the only muslim country to have a vibrant media and an  independent judiciary which has been established by the will of people. He criticized the opposition in the parliament for not safeguarding the rights of the people and playing a friendly role.

 

He lambasted the  PML-N leadership for their hypocracy .He said leadership has to lead from the front but  our rulers ask the nation to  sacrifice while they continue to spend lavishly.. He warned that PTI will  be on the roads if govt. fails to implement the court decision on NRO. Mr khan reiterated  the need for an education emergency. Today  he was addressing the students of CFE college , and a public gathering  at tech society lahore , later he visited mr abdul qadir hassan’s residence to condole for his wife and brother’s death.   Chairman PTI mr imran khan was accompanied by omar sarfraz cheema central information secretary, mian mehmud president Lahore, murad ross general secretary Lahore, talath naqvi information secretary women wing Punjab, nadeem qadir bhinder,sohail asif information secretary lhr,zohair rana, rana nazar ur rehman, mian khalid ,tahir ashraf bara, abdul karim kalwar,ishtiaq malik and other pti office bearers and members.

 

 

 

 

 

Protests if govt fails to implement SC decision: PTI

LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the rulers lacked capacity to take the country out of prevailing crisis, as their vested interests demanded support of anti-Pakistan policies.

 

Delivering a lecture at a private educational institution and addressing a public gathering at Tech Society here on Saturday, he said that the rulers were bent upon destroying the institutions only to save their wealth.

 

Imran said that the US was carrying out drone attacks in the country with the consent of rulers. He said that unknown fear on the part of rulers was the biggest hurdle in putting the country on right path.

 

Referring to Aafia Siddiqui issue, he said if such a thing happened in a civilised country, the entire nation would have come on roads. He praised the role of media for initiating a soft revolution in the country. He said the time was ripe for a change in the country. He urged women and youth to play due role for making Pakistan a truly sovereign state. He said Pakistan was the only Muslim country having a vibrant media and an independent judiciary established by the will of people.

Meanwhile, PTI Chief visited Abdul Qadir Hassan’s residence to condole the sad demise of his wife and brother. Omar Sarfraz Cheema, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Murad Ross, Talath Naqvi, Nadeem Qadir Bhinder, Sohail Asif, Zohair Rana, Rana Nazar-ur-Rehman, Mian Khalid, Tahir Ashraf Bara, Abdul Karim Kalwar, Ishtiaq Malik and other leaders accompanied PTI Chief.
Mukhtar calls on Shahbaz

 

Federal Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar called on the Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, here Saturday. Various matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. The CM informed the Federal Minister about the steps taken for the welfare of the people and development of the province.
