Fauzia Kasuri speaks to youth at international club in Islamabad

Mrs. Fauzia Kasuri, Pres Women Wing, PTI was the guest speaker at a seminar/workshop held by the youth of The International Club in Islamabad. Young men and women, from all over the country were present on the second day of this four day workshop. The subject under discussion was the identity of the Pakistani youth in the global scenario.

Mrs. Kasuri thanked the organizers of the event for their invitation and the opportunity to speak. Amongst many things said, she spoke of the urgent need for the youth to raise a collective voice in favor of justice, good governance and a system of checks and balances if Pakistan is to be considered a viable and civilized country in the comity of nations. She observed that the problems of young people all over the world are similar.. education, health, employment, poverty, drug abuse,gender discrimination, and youth conflicts are familiar to all youth. Unfortunately, due to the negligence and bad policies of successive governments, Pakistani youth are negatively stereotyped as illiterate and prone to terrorism Their issues have not been addressed with seriousness.She urged the Pakistani youth to stand up for their due rights and work for the future of their country. She emphasized that the real purpose of education is to build character and the lesson must never be lost.

Mrs. Kasuri spoke of the need for  a leader in Pakistan,who would be a role model for the youth. She highlighted the achievements of Imran Khan as a person with sound character and an unblemished reputation of honesty and integrity.

After her address, there was a question and answer session in which the students participated and displayed an elevated level of awareness about the political situation in Pakistan. A lot of students pledged to support Mr. Khan and Tehreek e Insaf in its struggle for truth and justice in Pakistan.

Others attending the seminar were Nasreen Tariq, Nazish Khalid, Samina Gul and Hina Manzoor. The students from Larkana, Sind and Balochistan extended an invitation to Mrs. Kasuri to visit their areas for similar functions.
