Concrete efforts needed not the appeals to curb menace of terrorism: PTI - PPP and PML-N both should explain the masses that what difference they have made as compared to Pervez Musharraf.
Urged masses to stop supporting those that have repeatedly betrayed * Rulers just aiming to safeguard their vested interests ================================================ LAHORE:15th March,2010. It was made very obvious in the recent speach by the Chief Minister Shahbaz Shairf that his vision as a leader is limited as his appeal to the terrorists reeked of a bid to safeguard his government, as he begged terrorists to refrain from attacking Punjab instead of Pakistan said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Central Information Secretary Omar Sarfraz Cheema. The PML- N leader did not discuss the failure of the government to protect the interest of the citizens. Instead of condemning and attacking the killers for their nefarious activities that have left the country devastated, Mian Shahbaz showed no concern about how these terrorists have been damaging the country, the lives of the people, their homes, businesses and the economy of Pakistan, as PML-N leadership has only concern about their government not being destabilized. Mr Cheema said that PTI believes in the politics of reconciliation, but it should not be made at the cost of the country or nation for personal gains. He was of the view that the PTI is the only political force of the country that was raising alarm to hold dialogues with the Tribals instead of launching war against them. He further said that PPP and PML-N both should explain the masses that what difference they have made as compare to Pervez Musharraf, he said. He said that PTI is struggling for the change in system instead of faces. The nation is already facing miseries in form of shortage of water, wheat, sugar, power crises, price hike and lawlessness but the rulers were making hollow slogans and showing day dreams just to prolong their tenure, he said, adding that the days are not far when the people of country would reject both PPP and PML-N. He said that when the silent majority of the country will come out on the streets and roads the PPP and PML-N rulers will find no place to hide. He urged the masses stop supporting those that have repeatedly betrayed them for their vested interest and still busy in safeguarding their corruption and evil designs in the name of democracy and saving system. |
