SIALKOT: Hundreds of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s (PTI) female activists took out a peaceful demonstration in protest against the closure of Sui gas for domestic consumption, staging a sit-in in front of Jinnah House on Monday.

According to the press release issued by Central Media Cell of PTI, of call of Chairman PTI Imran Khan Protest rallies and demonstration were held throughout the country and AJK against the unjust release of CIA agent Raymond Davis in connivance with the federal and Punjab government.

The main protest rally was addressed by Imran Khan at Appara Chowk in Islamabad which was attended by thousands of charged people raising slogans against the government.

Whereas Karachi protest rally was led by Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi, in Lahore Mian Mehmood Rasheed led the demonstration while provisional presidents of KPK Asad Qaiser and Qasim Khan Soori of Balochistan led the relies in Peshawar and Quetta respectively.

Besides these stations, 47 districts including Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sargoda, D.G Khan, Layyah, Gujrat, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Pashin, Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and Sialkot, rallies were held to protest the release of Raymond Davis.

ISLAMABAD (December 27) The Additional Secretary General Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Saifullah Khan Niazi has said that people of Pakistan are disappointed from both political parties who are in power in center and Punjab. They want a Pakistan according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam. Addressing workers convention of PTI in Sialkot district he urged the district leaders to organize the party on Union Council and ward level so that the message of Imran Khan is conveyed to every nook and corner of the country.

Sialkot: Omer Farooq Meyer has been appointed as district organizer for Sialkot whereas eleven PCOs have also been appointed for district Sialkot.

The chairman of the PTI Imran Khan while expressing his extreme concern over the grown and growing incidents of police torture in the country like the one happening in Sialkot recently has ascribed them to the politicisation of the police and civil servants.
