Islamabad (December 19, 2011):  The group of 30 politicians including Jahangir Tareen, the group includes, Ishaq Khakwani, Sadia Khaqan Abbasi, Sikandar Bosan, Sarwar Khan of Taxila, Umar Farooq Miankhel of DI Khan with his four brothers, Mohabbat Khan Marri, Ghulam Sarwar Cheema, Afzal Khan Yusufzai, Dr GG Jamal, Dr Javed Hussain from Parachinar and four technocrats including Abid Hassan, a former World Bank official announced their decision to join PTI. These 30 politicians are known to have relatively clean record and are being accepted in the PTI purely on that basis.

Islamabad (17 Dec, 2011): Former Senator Azam Khan Swati, accompanied by PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, announced to Join PTI in a press conference held in Islamabad.

Islamabad (December 16, 2011) : While opposing the imposition of martial law in the country, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf  chief Imran Khan made it public that PTI would resist any unconstitutional move, as his party believed in democratic system. He said the PTI was standing shoulder to shoulder with the Supreme Court in this regard would leave no stone unturned to implement its decisions in true letter and spirit. He said this in a press conference arranged for joining of Justice (Retd) Chaudhry Tariq, former provincial minister Col (Retd) Mohammad Anwar, former MPAs Abbas Mohiuddin and Chaudhry Nazar Gondal and others in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The Sunday times has corrected its news from 20th November about a combined meeting between Imran Khan, US ambasssador Cameron Munter and ISI chief Shuja Pasha. They have clarified that Imran Khan met Cameron Munter alone as shared by chairman himself in TV talkshows.

 Mrs. Kasuri spoke at Comsats University of Information and Technology(CUIT) in Islamabad about the urgent need for society to be more acceptable of the handicapped. She stressed that it was important for governments to have policies in place that were specific to the needs of people with disabilities. She said Allah has endowed each and every person with some gift or the other and those who are disabled must not be rejected. Instead they must be provided specialized education and training , so as to ensure their growth and development as regular citizens.

Islamabad (28 November, 2011): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Islamabad Chapter, held a protest against the NATO firing at the Pakistani border check-post, Salala, on Saturday 26^th November, in Mohmand Agency. The protesters expressed anger at the violation of Pakistani sovereignty and demanded the corrupt Pakistani Government to exit its support for the unjust War on Terror. The protesters included big numbers of youth as well as women from different areas of Islamabad.
