PTI Queensland chapter held its first meeting of paid members in Hensvale community centre Gold Coast on 16^th October 2010.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Victoria Australia organized its first ever event in Victoria this independence
day on 14th August 2011.

PTI Queensland Chapter, Australia organized Pakistan Independence Day Iftaar Function. About thirty members and supporters of PTI along with their families attended the function. This function was the first of its kind since the commencement of PTI’s Chapter in Queensland.

Sydney August 14^th (     ) As in previous years, PTI Australia took the lead in organizing Independence day celebrations on the 14^th of August this year too. This is the first occasion when PTI Australia have simultaneously organized this event in 3 different state capitals of Australia. We have had the Sydney team organize similar events before but this time we were joined by very hardworking and committed members of our Melbourne, Victoria Chapter and the Brisbane Chapter in Queensland. It is a moment of pride and gratefulness to Allah SWT and a testament to the success of the PTI mission globally.

Sydney : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Australia arranged a dinner party to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam (RA) on his 133^rd Birthday Anniversary, in Himalaya Restaurant, Granville, Sydney, on 20^th December, 2009.

The details of paying members from overseas chapters has been updated. From July 2009 to November 2009, 38 members have become paying members. The top slots for paying member countries remain unchanged.

PTI Australia, NSW Chapter (Sydney) strongly condemns the undemcratic act of overthrowing PTI posters and banners by PML(N) activists in Lahore. This shows that the rulers of Pakistan in general and government of Punjab in particular are scared of PTI growing popularity in the country.

Citilink Finance, Australia will accept donations on behalf of Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore. A signing ceremony was held in Sydney where documents were signed by Imran Khan, chairman of Shaukat Khanum Trust and Muhammad Asif, CEO of Citilink Finance.

The Pakistani cricketer-turned-political leader made an impassioned plea for Queensland's Muslim community to spread the true message of their religion to the broader society.

In a speech at Brisbane's Eidfest – celebrating the end of Ramadan – Mr Khan said: "After 9/11, suddenly Islam and terrorism have become synonymous. It's partly the fault of Muslim leadership and partly it's the fault of a well-planned conspiracy through which a new imperialist agenda has been pushed under the smokescreen of fighting Islamic terrorism.
