Islamabad (7 Feb, 2012): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that Zardari, Nawaz and Fazlur Rehman troika inflicted harm on the country. Addressing a news conference, the PTI chairman said the troika has dented the interests of the people and the country. He said that the country’s wealth has been looted mercilessly.

Peshawar (19 January, 2012): Former Secretary Local Council Board, Rehmat Ghazi announced joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf at a press conference in Peshawar on Thursday. The press conference was attended by Chairman Provincial Working Committee Asad Qaiser along with other leaders. Mr Ghazi said he had been attached with the party of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto since his student days but now things have changed and he feels the PTI alone can save Pakistan from further downfall. Asad Qaiser said PTI on coming to power would solve the problems of Chitral on priority basis and make full use of Chitral's natural resources.

A meeting of the Central Executive Committee Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf was held today in Islamabad. The CEC welcomed the decision by Tehrik e Istaqlaal led by a revered national figure  Air Marshall Asghar Khan to merge itself in Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf. Air Marshall Asghar Khan has stood for clean politics and rule of law all his life and the passing of this mantle to Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehrik e Insaaf is a huge endorsement of the principled politics pursued by PTI. During the meeting between the two leaders Air Marshall Asghar Khan demanded of the Supreme Court to hear his petition regarding distribution of money to some politicians including Nawaz Sharif by the ISI before the 1990 election. Mr. Imran Khan and PTI supported this demand.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf vehemently condemns the political victimization of Irfan Iqbal. The owner of the well known shopping store Al Fateh in Liberty Market joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf two days ago after which the LDA sealed all entrances to his store, hampering the store’s business activity. LDA also filed an FIR against him on the pretext of an unauthorized parking lot next to the store.

NOWSHERA: Begum Rahat Khattak, granddaughter of the Awami National Party former president late Ajmal Khattak, and 22 members of the District Bar Association on Wednesday joined the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI).

Lahore (December 19, 2011): Pakistan’s prominent singer and social activist Abrar-ul-Haq has joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.Abrar-ul-Haq said that he has complete trust in the leadership of Imran Khan and he added that he believes that the PTI would definitely deliver after winning the election. 

Islamabad (December 19, 2011):  The group of 30 politicians including Jahangir Tareen, the group includes, Ishaq Khakwani, Sadia Khaqan Abbasi, Sikandar Bosan, Sarwar Khan of Taxila, Umar Farooq Miankhel of DI Khan with his four brothers, Mohabbat Khan Marri, Ghulam Sarwar Cheema, Afzal Khan Yusufzai, Dr GG Jamal, Dr Javed Hussain from Parachinar and four technocrats including Abid Hassan, a former World Bank official announced their decision to join PTI. These 30 politicians are known to have relatively clean record and are being accepted in the PTI purely on that basis.

Chairman Imran Khan has said that PTI will inshaAllah implement a just system where  everyone including the down-trodden and minorities will have equal rights to everyone else.

Lahore (December 14, 2011): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that his party would fulfill the promise made by Quaid-e-Azam to the minorities and protect their rights. Addressing PTI's minority convention in Lahore, Imran Khan congratulated the crowd by saying that a new Pakistan was about to be formed.
