The Punjab Government is responsible for the death of hundreds through the use of spurious medicines said Ahsan Rashid, President Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Punjab. He said that the real nature of the crisis is not visible as yet. What we are seeing are the deaths in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology but no statistics are available from other hospitals in the province. It is inconceivable that these tainted medicines were only supplied in this particular hospital. The greater possibility is that that they were distributed all over the province. The Punjab Government is deliberately suppressing the incidents of mortality in other places.
