| Sunday, December 30, 2007 | Imran Khan's father seriously ill; people urged to pray
By SuperUser Account | 4476 Views |  | News, Press Release, Pakistan |  | | Mr. Imran Khan cut his visit short from India and landed in Karachi on Dec 29th 2007 with plans to head straight to Larkhana to offer his condolence to Mr. Asif Zardari and the family of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He was informed at the airport that his father was seriously ill and has been admitted in the ICU unit at SKMT and is on respiratory system. In the meantime a delegation lead by AM (retd) Shahid Zulfiqar, the outgoing Gen Sec. and compromising of other senior leaders such as Ahsan Rasheed, President Punjab drove from Lahore and met with Mr. Zardari and other family members and friends of the late Mrs. Bhutto. We request everyone to please pray for the early recovery of Chairman Khan's father. |

Anyway, he should personally visit no matter how brief whenever he got time. It should not delayed much longer. Zardari has acted wisely meanwhile. As Imran sit with NS despite his corruption only for the sake of Pakistan, at this time too he should meet Zardari for the sake of Pakistan.
May God mercy on Pakistan.

I pray for a speedy recovery of Khan saab's father. At this stage I think Imran saab is more needed with his father then making social calls. And keeping in mind how quick the PPP has recovered from the loss of their leader for the sake of election is anoying but not surprising. Again I hope and pray for a speedy recovery for Khan saab's father. |

I wish IK's father good health. May Allah give him strength to see prosperous Pakistan.
Its not neccesary for IK to meet Asif Zardari personally cuz hes has been his biggest critic. Else, I do fear for IK's Life over there. PPP workers n supporters are emotional ppl. Every possibility is there that they might insult him over there.

It was a shocking news for me when I heard this on 29th when Imran came back from Mumbai. Since then, I am praying for his father's good health and long life. Zardari is not very important. Parents are the most important ones in a person's life. Imran can visit Zardari some other time but his father is top priority for him.
