27th October 2023 News Headlines

A summary of today's important and breaking news regarding PTI and the country that the mainstream media of Pakistan will never show you.

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan's message to the nation through his family.

My Pakistanis!

In the last few days, we have witnessed a total mockery of the law. All that is happening today is not just an execution of a London plan but a "London agreement" that was signed between a cowardly fugitive and corrupt criminal and his facilitators. The only way a convicted criminal could be allowed to return to politics with a clean chit is by destroying State institutions. And hence, what we are witnessing is a complete collapse of our justice system.

My Pakistanis!

Please remember, all the cases against me are bogus and politically motivated, concocted only to keep me in jail, till after the elections or maybe much longer beyond the elections.

However, the growing political awareness and increasing resistance against closed-room conspiracies in my nation scare them.

At the moment, I am physically fit. I would know if my body was experiencing change from weakness. They have already made two public attempts to take my life. Since I won't agree to leave my country, there is of course a danger to my life. They will try to make another attempt while I am in jail. Such an attempt could also be through slow poisoning.

Our struggle is entering its decisive phase. You will have to fight for your own rights and your country's freedom.

I have directed my lawyers and party office bearers to hold conventions all over the country and also commence the campaign whenever elections are held.

Justice Aamer Farooq rejects Chairman Imran Khan’s Bail

Today Eighty-two days have passed since the illegal imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The courts have been running a double system of justice against Imran Khan for the last one and a half years. Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Aamer Farooq is leading from the front. Justice Aamer Farooq granted bail to the criminal Nawaz Sharif within a few minutes despite being a wanted fugitive, while the country's most loved leader is in prison for 82 days. Despite the strong arguments of his lawyers, the application for bail and dismissal of the cipher case was rejected by the court.

On the one hand, bail to the criminal, and on the other hand, the strictest continuous imprisonment in a fake political case. It is like the strangulation of justice.

Different Applications Of Imran Khan And Shah Mehmood Qureshi Were Rejected.

Today, two applications were filed by Chairman Imran Khan and three applications by Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Imran Khan's request to provide copies under Section 94 to keep the trial pending, the decision of the Islamabad High Court challenging the notification of the Ministry of Law.

A request was filed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi for the family to hear the Cipher case in Adiala Jail and to provide the rules of how Cipher went and how it came back. But Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain dismissed all the pleas except for adjournment of the case and ordered that the statements of the witnesses will be recorded by the next hearing i.e. October 31.

Like Tosha Khana, the Cipher Case continues at lightning speed.

Chairman Imran Khan's lawyer, Naeem Haider Panjutha, said in his tweet, "Nader Khan, Imran Sajid, Muhammad Nauman, Shamoon Qaiser, and Farrukh Abbas appeared as witnesses in the cipher case. They belong to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In routine, when an application comes, notice is given to the parties and arguments are held at the next hearing. If no counsel is available for that hearing, a date is given. This is an everyday practice and is not called forced arguments. But the judge is in such a hurry that he wants to finish the trial and punish quickly. Moreover an in-camera trial cannot be held in the jail until the High Court gives a decision. Why is it so urgent to run it? First, let the decision come whether the trial can be conducted here or not, then the trial will be conducted, but they are in a hurry here!"

Imran Khan Is A Great Example Of Persistence In Jail.

According to the lawyers who met Chairman Imran Khan yesterday, whenever they met Mr. Khan, one striking quality that consistently stood out was his unwavering courage and determination. They said that this courage became particularly evident in the face of numerous challenges, including FIRs registered against lawyers and others, arrests, raids, violence, and legal cases. Despite these adversities, Imran Khan continued to inspire us, urging us to turn to the courts and uphold the fundamental rights of innocent individuals through legal means. Imran Khan's tireless commitment to the supremacy of law and the constitution was evident, as he never once displayed concern about his own legal issues. Instead, he prioritized the well-being of the people, including children, the elderly, youth, and workers, especially women, urging us to support them in their legal battles. He emphasized that he had ample time for personal pursuits, such as studying Islamic books and history.

Unannounced And Illegal Bans Continue Against Tehreek-E-Insaf.

Additional General Secretary Central Punjab PTI Sardar Azimullah Khan Mayo was to hold a press conference at Kayani Hall of Lahore High Court along with lawyers. He said that PTI's office was sealed. The police also came to cover the press conference. Unannounced bans against Tehreek-e-Insaf are ongoing by the state, while on the other hand, rallies are being conducted by criminals with official protocols.

State Fascism Continues Against The Families Of Tehreek-E-Insaf Leaders.

Mian Amjad Iqbal, brother of Mian Aslam Iqbal, was kidnapped in Lahore. In the video, moments before the abduction, individuals in civil clothes can be seen arresting Mian Amjad. His sole "crime" is being the brother of Mian Aslam Iqbal, a staunch supporter of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran Khan.

Increase In Drug Prices Across The Country.

An increase of 84% in medicine prices has been recorded across the country during 7 months. In Faisalabad, insulin for diabetic patients has become scarce. Essential medicines for respiratory diseases and blood pressure, vital for saving lives, are being sold at arbitrary prices.

Egg Prices At A Record High.

Chicken prices have dropped nationwide, but eggs have reached a historic high. A dozen eggs are now selling at an all-time high of Rs 332. Desi eggs are sold at Rs 750, while red farm eggs are at Rs 450 per dozen.

Thousands Of Innocent People Are Waiting For Justice In Jails Since May 9.

Ayesha, a poor woman, has been struggling for months. Her husband is in jail for six months. Unable to pay rent, she now lives with relatives, pleading with ATC staff for six months to meet her husband. It's a stark contrast: a guilty convict gets bail in seconds, while an innocent, poor person waits a lifetime for justice behind bars.
